Redwing drivers ALWAYS wear their uniforms...

Book early to make sure you secure the dates you want.

Driver Gjon Paci takes wearing his Redwing uniform very seriously. Here he is (photo, right) skiing down a mountain in Switzerland, still in his Redwing uniform! That's dedication for you.

Our drivers are always smartly dressed in their discreet uniform, complete with monogrammed white shirt and red tie. You won't find them slouching around in tracksuits and backwards baseball caps while they're driving your coach - behaviour that is not unknown in the coach hire industry.

Everyone at Redwing takes a pride in appearance. The coaches are clean and smart. The drivers are smartly presented.

It's an important part of our culture. Call us fussy if you want, but we'll take that as a compliment!

Book early to make sure you secure the dates you want.

Did you know that many companies now hold their Christmas Parties in January?

It's an excellent strategy - staff and guests love it as it's one more event to enjoy before settling down to the hard grind of another New Year.

Company managers love it too - there are fantastic deals to be done with restaurants, venues and entertainment in the weeks following the mad pre-Christmas rush.

Wherever and whenever you decide to enjoy yourself, we'll take you where you need to go. Comfortably, safely, efficiently and without fuss.

We still have availability for your Christmas Party evening transfers in December, but you'll have to be quick! Alternatively, start planning an itinerary for your January party instead.

Call our helpful Sales Managers, Leslie Okyne or Jenny Smith, on 020 7733 1124 to find out how much your coach will cost.

Hire a coach for your Christmas Party

Santa Claus
Book now for your Christmas Party transport, before it's too late.

Hiring a luxury coach to take your staff to and from the Christmas Party venue makes a lot of sense. Everyone gets to the party on time. No one gets lost on the way. Keeping Redwing's coaches clean

Bucket. Photo: Maciej Perek via sxc.hu
Redwing coaches always start the day clean.

After a hard day on the roads our coaches often return to base splattered with mud and filth. But the next day they're sparkling clean again.

How do we keep our luxury coaches sparkling clean? A man with a mop and bucket? A hose pipe?

Absolutely not. We have our own state of the art automatic coach washing machine, a giant version of the automatic car wash at your local garage. Press a button and the rollers and water sprays start their work, making their way along the length of the coach.

Each coach has a surface area of about 1,200 square feet, including the roof. On journeys with overnight stops our drivers often wash their coaches by hand to maintain our high standards even under difficult conditions.

Useless fact: the total cleanable surface area of our coach fleet is almost exactly 2 acres. That's larger than a football pitch, or about the same size as a car park for 300 cars. So it's a lot of cleaning!

Our drivers take great pride in the appearance and cleanliness of their coaches. You can be sure your coach will start the day spick and span, both inside and out.

Redwing's EXOR Accreditation successfully renewed

Redwing Coaches is an EXOR Accredited contractor.
Redwing Coaches is an EXOR Accredited supplier.

Once again, Redwing Coaches has successfully been granted Exor Accreditation for the tendering of Local Authority business. We've now been accredited for several years.

If you don't know what 'EXOR' is, here it is in a nutshell: Local Authority buyers are obliged to tender for the purchase of many products and services. The tendering procedures are strict and thorough and, as a result, they can be costly and time consuming to implement, both for the local authority and the supplier.

EXOR is a commercial organisation that vets potential suppliers, subjecting them to detailed research and questioning. Suppliers who pass the tests are Accredited for the tendering of Local Authority business. Most local authorities accept Exor's ratings and this simplifies and speeds up the tendering process, with obvious benefits for all concerned.

By taking the trouble to become EXOR accredited we're providing Local Authority buyers with independent proof of the quality of our business operations, and making it quick and easy to purchase our coach hire services. As the EXOR website explains: 'A business with EXOR accreditation is known to be financially stable, compliant with legislation relevant to the work carried out by the business, and reliable, with a trading history checked by the sourcing of independent references.'

If you are a Local Authority funded buyer please give our friendly Sales Managers, Leslie Okyne or Jenny Smith, a call on 020 7733 1124 to discuss all your coach hire requirements for the coming months.

Redwing orders new coaches worth £2.8m

14 Redwing Mercedes Tourismo coaches on order.
Fourteen new Mercedes Tourismo luxury coaches will arrive in March 2012.

We've just placed an order worth £2.8 million for fourteen brand new Mercedes Tourismo luxury coaches, for delivery in March 2012.

The new coaches, built to our own specification, will replace an equal number of existing coaches. The new coaches are a mix of 49 seaters with washroom/WC and 53 seater standard luxury coaches.

For many years, Redwing Coaches have followed a policy of regular planned fleet renewal. This means we consistently have one of the youngest and most technologically advanced large fleets of luxury coaches in Europe.

As a Redwing customer you can always be certain you'll be travelling in a modern, luxurious and comfortable coach fitted with the latest safety features, maintained in first class condition by our own team of specialist mechanics.

When you're ringing around for quotes, make sure you ask 'How old is the coach we'll be travelling in?'. While there's nothing wrong with a well-maintained older coach, there's no doubt that a modern coach fitted with the latest safety and comfort features is far preferable.

Getting to Exhibitions and Events

Entrance to the Excel exhibition centre in Docklands.
Excel, in Docklands, is one of London's finest exhibition and event venues.

London is host to numerous trade exhibitions and high profile events throughout the year. Exhibition venues, from small to very large, are located all over Greater London.

For groups of visitors arriving in London from other parts of the country by train or plane, getting to the venue is inevitably the most awkward and stressful part of the journey, especially if you're unfamiliar with London's transport systems.

To get to the famous Excel centre in Docklands using public transport, for example, you'll almost certainly need to use the Underground and the Docklands Light Railway, making sure to connect at the right stations and get on the right trains, as they don't all go to the same destinations. Plus, if your timing is unfortunate, on your return journey back into central London you'll hit the evening rush hour and have to battle against thousands of sharp-elbowed commuters thundering out of London in 'rhinocerous' mode. Enough to spoil any day!

The way to eliminate all this trouble and inconvenience is to hire a coach for your group from Redwing Coaches. We'll collect your group from your station, airport or office and deliver you conveniently to the door of your venue. No one gets lost, no one gets stressed out. Everyone arrives at the event on time and raring to go.

This is the professional and efficient way to organise a visit to a trade exhibition.

Call our Sales Managers, Leslie Okyne or Jenny Smith, on 020 7733 1124 to find out how little it will cost.

Save money with Airport Transfers by luxury coach

Boeing 747 jumbo jet
Redwing Coaches offers huge cost savings on airport transfers for groups of air passengers.

If you have a group of people travelling by air, a coach transfer to and from the airport is often the most convenient and cost effective mode of transport.

Compared to using taxis, trains or the Underground, the cost savings can be enormous.

There are other advantages too. Everyone in your group arrives at the right place at the right time. No one gets lost. No one has to struggle with baggage. The journey is door to door, and it's probably the least stressful way of travelling to or from an airport.

We have vast experience taking groups to and from airports including London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW), Stansted (STN), Luton (LTN) and London City (LCY).

Our drivers are very experienced in dealing pleasantly and efficiently with passengers and their baggage. Arriving and departing can be a stressful time for passengers, so we do our best to make the transfer as smooth and painless as possible.

For more information, and to work out what the cost per head will be, just call our helpful Sales Managers, Leslie Okyne or Jenny Smith, on 020 7733 1124, or check out our Airport, Train and Boat Transfers page.

Organise a Theatre Trip for your private group

Theatre sign. Photo: reuben4eva via sxc.hu
A theatre trip is easy to organise.

Theatre trips are very popular, either visiting a theatre in London or one of the many fine venues in surrounding counties. You can organise a trip yourself, easily and economically.

The West End theatre scene is packed out every night with a huge selection of impressive shows. Current favourites include Shrek The Musical at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and the Wizard Of Oz at the London Palladium.

Further afield, the prestigious Yvonne Arnaud theatre in Guildford, for example, with its attractive riverside setting and excellent restaurant, is a popular destination, featuring an eclectic schedule of performances.

Increasing numbers of enterprising individuals, association secretaries and club chairmen are organising their own coach excursions for their friends, families and members.

It's not difficult. Do you know six people? Do each of them know six people? Great! You've got yourself a coach load!

You can fill up a 49 seater luxury coach in no time. And usually you'll find that the economics work out very nicely even without a full load.

A typical trip might involve the journey to your chosen venue, the performance, a meal either before or after the performance at a local restaurant, and the comfortable trip home.

It's not difficult to organise a trip like this, even if you've never done it before. If you need some tips, and a no pressure, no obligation price quote, just call our helpful Sales Managers, Leslie Okyne or Jenny Smith, on 020 7733 1124, or check out our Theatre and Restaurant Trips page.
