Theatre and restaurant trips

By arranging a luxury coach to take your group to the theatre or cinema, and onwards later to a restaurant, you're greatly increasing the chances of a well-attended, successful outing.

Everyone enjoys the performance and the meal, but getting to the venues and getting home again can often be a nightmare.

Travelling independently - by car, for example - your theatre-goers have to locate the theatre, find a parking space, find the theatre again on foot, then repeat the whole procedure later for the restaurant, and finally drive home.

The secret of arranging a successful group outing is to eliminate the bits people don't like. Travelling as a group in your own Redwing coach, departing from a convenient local meeting point, we'll usually deliver you right to the theatre door. What could be more convenient?

After the performance we'll take you to your restaurant, and from there, home.

No stress, no hassle, no wandering around in the rain on unfamiliar streets. Just a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable journey in the company of likeminded people, and a great evening out.

Our experienced drivers know all the theatres and entertainment areas, so you're in good hands.

Group leaders, you'll be pleased to know you can contact your driver by mobile phone during the evening to fine tune the details.

How much does it cost?

Probably less than you think! We'll always offer you a highly competitive, value for money price.

Although many people like to pretend that travelling in their own car is somehow 'free', it's actually nothing of the sort, once fuel, insurance, maintenance and depreciation are added in. Not to mention parking fees and the risk of parking fines, speed camera fines and possibly the London Congestion Charge (applies before 6pm, Monday to Friday and costs £8 for cars).

If you remind people of these facts when you're drumming up interest for your event, you'll soon find they see the advantages of paying for a coach and sign up for the trip.

Another factor that may encourage your guests to travel by coach is the reduced Carbon Footprint of a single coach full of passengers, compared with perhaps twenty or more cars travelling independently.

What do you want to do?

Here are some suggestions: an early supper in Covent Garden followed by a West End musical; a cutting edge play at the Donmar Warehouse; a Christmas pantomime followed by a meal; something a bit more highbrow at the National Theatre or a concert at the Royal Festival Hall; a film premiere in Leicester Square; a matinee at the Royal Albert Hall followed by a short London sightseeing tour and a meal in London's Chinatown; a day trip for some Shakespeare in Stratford on Avon; ballet or opera at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden; an exhibition at the Royal Academy in Picadilly; the possibilities are endless.
